3rd flush is larger than my 2nd,

I have only done a few grows so far so I'm still pretty new, however this current grow is in the middle of its 3rd flush and I can already tell its yielding more than my 2nd flush did !
I have never seen this happen yet and couldn't find similar threads by searching, I'm not complaining ha mostly just curious if anyone has ever had anything like this happen and what might cause it?

It happens if your substrate was to dry on the second and you rehydrated it, or you had some other environmental condition off, that is now corrected. I have also had just poor pinsets on the first flush, then a better second flush. Nothing in particular causes it, just be happy

did you do anything different for the 3rd flush? perhaps a different kind of water for dunking or a longer or less dunk time. that happened to me once and i think it was becuz i used a different kind of spring water. everything can affect growth, even things you dont control.

Now that you mention it on my 1st and largest flush as usual I dunked 24 hours then rolled, on my 2nd flush I dunked for only 12 hours and rolled again, and on this 3rd flush I actually dunked longer about 20-22 hours because I was out most of the day and then I didn't do another roll because it didn't seem to need it.
The water type and FC conditions have been identical every flush so the dunk and rolling conditions must of had something to do with it! Thanks for mentioning it I forgot about that!

Haha and thanks scatmanrav my varying dunking times certainly had something to do with the hydration of the cakes, and yeah it's definitely a nice surprise!
And to lunibruni I have pics of the 1st flush but none of the 2nd sorry, and none of the 3rd yet but I might take some when they mature a little more
