I don't know if this is a facebook thing, or safari thing. But even typing in a text box on facebook, the word "Facebook" shows up as a mistake on the automatic spellcheck.

Spell check goes by dictionary words. Facebook isn't a dictionary word therefor it appears as an error. Why is that so hard to understand?

dude, I find it humorous that as I'm typing the word "facebook" on Facebook's own damn website and it throws it as an error. Facebook doesn't have spell check built in. Your browser does. I've always wanted an adaptive spell check system, however it just isn't feasible.
I would also like to point out that your spell checking program seems to have missed plenty of the syntax in your above post.
You know, Shroomery has a nifty little spell check function too. I think you may need it to supplement your already limited English abilities.

Oh, i'm very aware of spellcheck on shroomery as well. I choose to ignore it. I'm posting in an off topic section of a shroomery forum, sorry my grammar isn't up to your high level of expectations. If you'd like, I'd be more than happy to email you any number of the papers I've written to earn my Pre-Med degree from the University of Florida. yeah, I save caring that much for stuff that matters, not too worried about my grammar impressing or not impressing fellow stoners/shroomers....

yeah, I figured about the spellcheck being part of the browser not the site itself but, either way, I found it humorous and wanted to share.... I'm actually surprised that the adaptive spellcheck isn't around. I mean I remember back in the day before spellcheck being basically built into the OS, gmail had its own built in spellcheck. So somebody obviously figured out at some point in time how to integrate spellcheck into a website...?
