[PICS] Pins and Mold on BRF Cakes (PF Tek)

I've been very anal about following the PF Tek to the "t", but I let my cakes colonize for a bit too long I think. They started pinning inside so I took them out (right after taking pictures) and got them started on a 24hr dunk. Also, there was some dingy, yellow mold that seems harmless but I'll post anyway.
Do I need to be concerned about anything?

the yellow is metabolites, which is fine. if you roll after your dunk be a little cautious cuz it can cause it to abort.

Duty noted...but what should I do then? (ie. Should I not roll that side/pin? Should I just be extra gentle?)

Some people say break it off gently when you dnr, others say be careful with it and let it keep going after you put it in the FC. It's up to you.

Pick those if you haven't already and don't worry about the yellow. You will have new pins in week if you do everything right. Looks good though, keep us posted.

Despite reading opposing opinions, I decided to pick those "pins." Two were on the verge of falling off as it was and the third just seemed uncomfortable. I've included some pics of my FC and those pins. Comments (and critique!) are encouraged.

Now I just keep misting for 24hours, correct? Should I continue to mist after that 24hr mark? How often?

Mist/fan every 3 hours during the 12 hr light period.
I suggest more perlite, 5+ inches, and elevating the chamber to allow airflow from underneath to come through the holes you drilled in the bottom of the tub. This creates humidity. Otherwise

Mist/fan as often as you can throughout the entire fruiting process.
