Reducing Contamination Idea

This may have been mentioned before but I was wondering if you were to pure a small amount of either hydrogen peroxide and or 91% isopropyl alcohol into your ultrasonic and cool mist if it would help reduce contamination without making your mushrooms inedible.
I've sprayed 91% isopropyl alcohol directly on isolated contam spots and killed them.

In an ultrasonic? No... But I've tried iso and peroxide for killing and containing contams... and never had luck getting completely rid of one.

Both would probably hurt the mycelium more than they would help kill contaminant molds - and molds recover a lot faster than mushrooms.
FAE is the best way to reduce contaminants during fruiting.

In my own opinion I dont think it would do anything for you. The problem I see in the idea is that the small amount will be too little to do any good and the amount you need to be effective in killing contaminates will harm the mycelium. But thats just me. ~Khaos
