I ruined myself for a bit with alcohol.
I ruined friendships.
I screamed at people.
I peed on countless things ( My girlfriend, My dog, my oven, my dresser drawer, my pants , my laptop, down my stairs. )
I drove drunk and wrecked countless cars. Fuck I wrecked my grandpas car into a telephone pole drunk, then got a rental car, and wrecked that into a tree drunk within 3 days.
I ruined my rothbury experience over getting too drunk.
My mom is a drunk.
My grandpa drinks 2 bottles of wine a week, which I have to go buy for him.
My 18 year old brother gets drunk......crawls 2 miles to my moms house, and screams in her front yard.............then she has a shot with him.........and cooks him a grilled cheese.
Is alcohol like this? Or are people like this?
P.s I quit drinking heavily. Now I have one night a month where I'll drink 2-4 beers.

I'm right there with you. I simply cannot drink heavily if I want to maintain any level of control over myself. I'm a naturally impulsive person, and with alcohol dropping my inhibitions there's no telling what I may do.
I've rolled a car over going around 70mph.. Gotten into countless fights. Lost some friends, a girlfriend, made an ass of myself.
Most of my close friends still push me to drink, put shots in front of me when we're partying, even after seeing how wild I can get.
Many people have problems controlling themselves when drinking. When I was younger and I met people who told me they didn't drink, I always assumed they didn't like the taste or the feeling of being drunk. Actually in most cases these people just don't like the way themselves and others tend to act when they drink.
If I go out now I always volunteer to drive, it keeps me in check. I'll have one, maybe two drinks over the night.

tequila and beer was a bad combo for me. that night (about 8 years ago) I insulted a good friend over and over, saying that i fucked his girlfriend, finally running up to his face and flicking him off saying, "Fuck You!!!" and running off into the night in my cowboy boots and leather pants. but it was more my disposition at the time, very self-centered ego paired with depression, resentment, and anger at myself.
now beer and tequila would just make things spin and id puke.
some people definitely can never control their urges with alcohol though, that part of their brain just gets wrecked with it.
