chakra and balancing

so recently i have been trying to meditate and feel my chakra flow, normally this wouldn't be a problem because i know what to do and how to feel my chakra flow. upon the last time of me meditating my first three chakras were extremely weak and it gave me great pain opening up the second and third chakra. what's happening to me? how can i fix this? also can anybody enlighten me as to balance my chakras?
