Burma & Costa Rica Tubs - END OF RUN: 16.99 OZ DRY!
#12056430 - 02/18/10 09:52 PM (3 years, 3 months ago) |

|
END OF RUN - 03.14.2010 (10:00 PM) the second flushes were picked four nights ago, and once again the gods were smiling
dry weights for the second run - burmas: 4.10 oz costas: 2.73 oz total dry weight for run: 16.99 oz
unfortunately i didn't get a chance to rehydrate/tend to the tubs properly following the second flush, so this is probably the end of the line. i can say i'm pretty damn happy about the run tho!
also: notice how huge the caps are this time! the light definitely helped - giving me excellent second flush yields and rapid mushroom growth in general

DRY WEIGHT UPDATE - 03.03.2010 (2:00 PM) alright, the first flush is over for both tubs and the dry weights are in!
burmas: 5.89 oz costas: 4.27 oz total dry weight: 10.16 oz
second flush pins are already coming in and there will be more porn to come!
COSTA RICA HARVEST!!! - 02.28.2010 (3:00 AM) let the good times keep rolling
costa rica tub yielded 1320 grams prior to cleaning/drying - final dry weight for the first flush of burmas was 5.89 oz
more porn for your viewing pleasure...

stayed tuned for future updates!
BURMA HARVEST!!! - 02.27.2010 (3:00 AM) well friends, this was it, the gods are smiling tonight
harvested the burma tub, 1484 grams prior to cleaning/drying - just barely managed to shove them all in the dehydrator...
enjoy the porn

stay tuned...i hope to harvest the costas tomorrow night!
FIFTH UPDATE - 02.26.2010 (5:00 PM) about 24 hours since i changed the light and i swear the caps are already looking healthier in both tubs - i'll probably harvest both tubs within 36 hours

FOURTH UPDATE - 02.25.2010 (5:00 AM) burmas are bangin, costas are slangin...

THIRD UPDATE - 02.23.2010 (4:00 PM) awwwwww yeah...
burmas on the left, costa ricans on the right...

SECOND UPDATE - 02.21.2010 (11:00 PM) just some porn, i decided to take some pictures of the costa ricans through one of the tub's holes - i can't stop looking at these tubs, they are truly some magical mini forests

things are picking up speed now, it's just a matter of time...
FIRST UPDATE - 02.21.2010 (4:00 AM) the little bastards are growing up quick and things are looking great in both tubs
the burmas are real fat and the costa ricans just keep popping up...

i'm expecting to harvest both tubs by the end of next weekend - stay tuned...
FIRST POST - 02.18.2010 (9:00 PM) alright friends, it's been a while since my last documented gro, but i'm back and ready to deliver BIG
two tubs - one burma, one costa rica

it took a while to get both tubs to pin, about 10 days, but they're taking off now
the burma tub started out as as a biopsy (clone) from a beast from my first burma run which weighed over 75 g wet. here's the log from that run: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11358195/fpart/all
the burma pins are looking fat and i'm expecting another monster flush
the costa rica tub started as a MS-LC, my last tub of costa ricans were insanely potent so i'm stoked to have another flush coming up. mad rhizo growth in this tub prior to pinning and as of today it looks like it will be an epic flush
burmas on the left, costa ricans on the right

stay tuned for updates, shit is gonna be goooooood

Burma is one hell of a strain, my personal favorite. They look great good luck on harvest.

Like pretty much everyone else I can't wait to see more pics as these develop! Very beautiful work!
What are you doing for FAE? I couldn't quite make it out from the pics.

micropore tape over the holes and a fan running in the room at all times - i also fanned regularly to help with FAE prior to pinning, it was definitely worth the extra effort

That costa isolate is kinda interesting. Its long with a small head, which i thought might be lack of fae, but then I noticed the stems are thick and meaty. Do they look like the one you cloned?

the costa isn't an isolate, it was a MS-LC, so there's plenty of genetic variation within the tub - the FAE has been good so i think some of the smaller heads might just be mutations, i guess we'll see at harvest time...i might fan them a little extra over the next few days...
the burma is the clone, and yes, the mushies look like their massive mother-mushie which the biopsy was taken from...it's really exciting to be on the verge of my first cloned flush
