Anyone that buys into and participates with pot head culture is a part of the problem. its a drug, get over it!
i remember back in highschool all the kids would smoke pot and think they were so cool, and be in their little "pot-head" clique, and then have their parents buy them stupid stoner gear, and bob marley rasta 420 clothes. (that they got from the mall)
Then they would go out and spend their parents money to buy shwaggy pot (but don't worry man, its SUPER STONEY!!) and then gather in little groups, of course excluding the kids that don't have enough money to buy their shitty pot and stupid clothes. they were such low-lifes, always skipping class, most if not all never graduated. they seemed to be perfectly fine with throwing their opportunity away so they could congregate around a circle and smoke their shwaggy pot!
and of course they aren't even interesting either, because all they do is sit around and smoke pot!! after they finish smoking their crappy weed they just awkwardly sit around, brown-frown on their face, red eyes...nothing to talk about, probably light up a ciggarette. "man im so stoned".
so fuckin lame. its a drug, glorifying its abuse is the most childish and immature thing!

I was sort of that way when I was about 15-16. Smoked almost exclusively schwag, sat around a lot, didn't fulfill a lot of my plans. I hung out with a lot of different kind of people though, rednecks, normal tshirt and jean guys, nerds, thugs, etc.
I eventually grew out of that though.... still smoke way too much pot, but it's almost always chronic and I actually go out and do stuff  smoking weed is more like smoking cigarettes now where it used to be a complete activity in and of itself

at least *some* drinking events can be fun. i never had fun smoking in a cirlce with pot head lame asses.
i love to share my smoke with real friends though, i don't consider them pot heads, i consider them REAL people.
its when you glorify the session and center your whole day/week/existence around it that it gets fuckin lame as shiiiit

by the way, you're just stereotyping stoners, when i went to high school i knew plenty of them that were on the honor roll and getting scholarships and all that
hell, even the football team was smoking weed and the teachers knew it but they still tackled the shit out of people, i would even smoke with them pre-game

I never really hung out in pot head circles for that reason.I'd get stoned by myself and write poems, draw, bike for hours and read books.
I don't see the "pot head" culture (as you describe it) and the people frequently involved in that scene as being any different than drinking parties and the people who always attend them.

i doubt someone that is on the honor roll is the same type of person that skips class and sits around a circle all day smoking shitty shwag weed.
i don't mind casual tokers, and hell if you can handle smoking weed daily and still be productive, then more power to you! just don't glorify it to make yourself look cool. (i highly doubt some1 on the honor roll would do such a thing)
my main problem is when the stoner starts to glorify their drug abuse. i know there are many many different types of people and stoners, hell i smoke plenty of pot. but i don't act like im super stoney 420 and coolmarley becuse i do.

Yeah... There were a few that thought they were cool because they smoked pot. But they got laughed at anyway so what does it matter, let them be...
I miss those days of sitting next to a gf of mine and suddenly she passes her little mirror to me with a line of speed on it.

I had a buddy who I used to drop acid with who wore "stoner" gear all the time and he graduated a year early, was in all AP classes and got a scholarship for a great university.

there's no room for schwag or brick weed anymore
plus, you're just looking at the stereotypical stoner
some of the people on the football team and honor roll students were my dealers, they have no reason to skip class because they would even toke it in the locker rooms

i still hear trainwreck(amongst others..like plane crash, car crash, shipwreck)
but i suppose it could do with the quality because i did know some people stoners who were too poor to buy weed at normal price of 20/g
