 Monotub: My substrate layer is really wet

I have two 18 gallon monotubs each with 6 Qts. worth of colonized WBS mixed with 1 block of Coir 1 Qt. of Verm. and 1 Qt. of coffee and 1 gallon water. It has been one week since the tubs were started and the top layer on each looks to be completely colonized. However, I used a frosting layer on each tub so all I know is the top layer is colonized, I can't tell how well they are colonized underneath. My issue is that after a few days I came to the conclusion that my tubs were too dry so I misted each tub with a few sprays. All holes are tapped shut. Now my tubs seem to be too wet. There is a bit of standing water in parts on the substrate layer. There is a single large puddle of anything, but there is standing water. Last night I dabbed up all the water I could off of the substrate layer and today the water is back. Should I continue to dab up the water when it forms or just leave it alone? Also, I was thinking of putting polyfill in the tops hole in tubs to let some of that humidity out, would this be a good idea? Thanks for any help!

i may get flamed for this but fuck it.
IMHO frosting layer is a bad idea. what happeens is exatcly what happens to you, you cant tell if its done yet. Who cares if it provides protection for the sub underneath. if you did it in a clean room and properly pasturized your sub then whats the problem?
as bulk subs colonize very fast i would just wait a day or 2 and fruit it buddy. i figure if your frosting layer is done itll protect the layer underneat anyway right? if not theres no point in it in the first place. heck its probably done.
dont worry about the condensation its not a sign of humidity its a sign of temp difference. its hotter in the tub casue the myc makes itw own heat.
IMO i think you'll be swimming in shrooms soon
oh and if you decide you just want to let out some humidity id put it in a clean room with some holes exposed for like 30 mins and then again if needed. i use kind of a slack sterile procedure for my bulk gros but my home is emaculate. maybe wouldnt work for everyone
