How many people who smoke pot,self acclaimed pot connoisseurs, and even the veterans who have been smoking for many years, do not know that there is a big difference between Indica and Sativa. Does the average person you know, know the difference between the two?

 Just the other day somebody was telling a story of how they smoked LSD laced pot. As soon as the words came out of his mouth I was just like, "FALSE!!!!!" and chewed his ass out. He maintained that his story was true, but everybody knew he was a liar by the end of my ass chewing.

Some people that I know understand the difference, but I'd say the average weed smoker does not.

Most people I know do know the difference, though they probably didn't until they smoked for a long time, I didn't until I had been tokin' a while.
I found out when one sack I picked up had me STUCK to the couch.

Yeah id say the majority of the people don't know a whole lot about pot....
You'd think they'd want to know EVERYTHING they can about what they put in their bodies...ha but alot dont seem to care much
It's funny when i break it down for people... i cant count the amount of times i've heard "Damn, what did you go to weed college or somethin!" ha

I remember when i was finishing high school and i thought i knew alot of shit about weed. im going on 6 years of smoking nearly everyday and i still find cool info every now and then.
but to your topic, some people may know the difference conversation wise, but maybe not know how the high feels like because they dont smoke enough which is probably an issue. Others are just like "weed is weed, all of it does the same thing"

Most the time we don't even know what strain it is.
Most weed is a hybrid of indica and sativa.
I would need to try a pure sativa vs a pure indica but I've never got to do that.

depends on the pothead. some potheads (like me) don't give a crap about what kind of weed it is. I prefer a nice indica. but don't fuckin call it by it's strain name  I won't know what the hell you're talking about.

I've been smoking pot for 6 years, and only learned the difference about 6 months ago. I did know that when I switched between different names, I got higher. Looking back on it, I guess it's because some of them were high indica, and other ones were high sativa. After smoking a certain strain for a few weeks, and switching to another one, I got a different high. Since it felt different, it was more noticeable, and so I felt higher.
Don't think I ever really needed to know the difference though.

Most of my friends are pretty sharp and know the difference. We don't fuck around where I live.
