Can anyone suggest some good spiritual and mystical writers to read?
Or some good spiritual topics to read about?
My favorite spiritual writers right now are Ram Dass, Alan Watts, and Sam Harris if that helps any.
Thanks.

I was going to say Ram Dass... but seems you have already came across him.
I enjoy channeled stuff such as the Seth series by Jane Roberts. If your into dreaming and out of body experiences, check out Robert Moss, William Buhlman, Robert Monroe and Robert Bruce.

Tolle is great! Perhaps a little to mainstream for some of the esoteric seekers who dwell in these parts.

Pema Chödrön and Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse are the most no-bullshit spiritual authors I have come across.

I LOVE the title 'the wisdom of no escape' Nice rare suggestions Lion!
I think some of the best spiritual books are in quesiton/answer format, that way when you have a question about something you can usually go to the index & then look up something that deals with it. Plus with the question/answer format, you can pick up on the whole satsang vibe.
I'd say first find an awakened being that you find affinity with & take it from there. Like if you like Gangaji, or Adyashanti, Ram Dass etc... they're all good at explaining it in a 'western way'
If you wanna go the eastern approach reading Buddhist sutras, the Tao Te Ching, or ancient Vedantic (hindu) texts like the Ashtavakra gita, Avadhuta Gita...
Ramana Maharshi's 'Talks' is the one book i'd say is really great, but its all question/answer format & lots of eastern terminology, so not exactly great 'writing' if you know what i mean... but VERY powerful if you have the eyes to read it. Its just honest seeker questions & straight to the point awakened answers, but its for mature seekers for sure, i dont mean that with any supererioty.
For some reason i feel to suggest Adyashanti to you, i've never read a whole one of his books but what i have read & heard of him, hes very clear & eloquent in his style, i think you'd enjoy reading him alot if you like Ram Dass & Alan Watts.
