south american strains are great. My friend is currenly working with EQ's and SA's and both are colonizing fast. The EQ is being incubated at around 78 degrees and the SA is at about 75 degrees.

Both strains showed growth after 3 days. At two weeks all jars were at least 80% colonized for the EQ. The SA jars are only about 5 days old but are growing fast.

I've never tried the Chilean strain, but you can't go wrong with the other five strains you've listed.

Since Chilean and Ecuador are both mountainous I would think they would have lower temp climates. And then again, brazil has plains which are not as hot as some areas. Of course, i don't know exactly which region each strain came from.
PESA and Amazon are the only two that I have read of the are specifically suited for low temps. Are the others equally suitable for low temps?

I've looked and looked and looked for further information on this strain of cubies (Syzygy), the same one McKenna sold on his site (Syzygy) a long time ago, but I haven't been able to come up with much.

I've heard they are more potent that most cubies, but not by too much.

I'm looking for any first hand information you can give (or any at all really) about the cultivation (good yields? nice looking flushes/fruits?), potency, and anything else.

And also...

*edit* apologies to the mods for posting in the wrong forum to begin with
Which 3 strains would you grow?
You may choose 3
Orissa India
Syzygy
Dancing Tiger
Thai Lipa Yai
Dixieland
Z Strain
Mexican Dutch King

All Cubensis fruit in relatively similar temperatures.

With that said, some state that the "Oh Canada" strain was bred to fruit in lower temps.

I've never seen "oh canada" for sale. Where can it be found?

EDIT:
"The 'Oh Canada' is a cold-loving strain from the SporeLab. It is perfect for those who wish to create their own outdoor plot in area's where cubensis do not grow naturally. The spore's were collected from healthy specimens which fruited in temp. just above freezing. It is a long-term project which ideally consists of starting an outdoor plot in the spring with mycellium, compost and straw. Over the summer, the plot will establish itself and should fruit in the fall when Mother Nature creates the right conditions.

More info can be found on the Sporelab website.

i need a proffesional grower here someone who has had experience with a lot of different strains. i am about to do my first casing using rye jars. i need a strain that colonizes fast and produces alot. ive been doing research and have narrowed it down to the ones im most interested in growing. but i can only chose one. my choices are.......

Brazilian- fast colonizer contam resistant
Burma- very fast colonizer
Koh Samui Super Strain- fast colonize contam resistant not strong flush though
Mexican Cube- fast colonize with high yield.....my pick so far
South America- quick colonize large fruits

all information was gathered from http://mushroomwiki.com/wiki-1.8.2/mediawiki-1.8.2/index.php?title=Strain#Mazatapec

so if you could only pick one in which you wanted to grow a whole bunch in a little time.....taking into consideration that all aspects of growing will be met adequetly.

Thank You

Exchanging mushrooms for money would be a fine way to make some interesting new friends. Big buttsecksing friends. And for the time involved, you might as well just go get a job.
