Fox leads for trust
Americans do not trust the major tv news operations in the country- except for Fox News.

Our newest survey looking at perceptions of ABC News, CBS News, CNN, Fox News, and NBC News finds Fox as the only one that more people say they trust than distrust. 49% say they trust it to 37% who do not.

CNN does next best at a 39/41 spread, followed by NBC at 35/44, CBS at 32/46, and ABC at 31/46.

Shouldn't take it serious anyway remember.
Even if you think it's not effecting you. It's designed to put you into a trance. A state of open receptiveness.
Where you just "veg out" and are bombarded by a constant stream of overstimulation. It turns off your logical filter. Their propaganda goes straight into your subconscious without you even filtering it. So they inject their programming into peoples brains without them even questioning if its legit or not, just blam.

Then you have people running around thinking poor people are the scourge of the Earth or something, and all kinds of other stupid ideas that they got from god knows where (TV)

so true :tvhead:

Sorry, but this guy lost all of his credibility as an unbiased commentator on media manipulation techniques when he said "that's not true, vast numbers of people are waking up."

Not that I don't believe 9/11 was an inside job. I think it's pretty likely that it was. But you're not hearing from some media expert here, you're hearing from some random internet conspiracy theorist like Life_Upon_Death.

I hated T.V. before (especially mainstream american news)... then I started studying conversational hypnosis... now I hate it with a passion

please do yourself a favor and turn off your T.V.... then smash it into to tiny little bits

at the very least, stop watching the fucking news

I still don't think 9/11 was an inside job but that doesn't change the fact that modern media is strait fucked up and you could totally view it as a corporate conspiracy.

i have a TV. it even has a cable box lol. it  has a table top on it and is furniture. cuz that is the only real use for a cathode ray tube configured like that in the 21st century.

if i want something from network TV i pick it and watch just it w/out commercials, of course, (there's 18 minutes of my life back) and then go back to reading my news from around the world. my computer is music, movies, TV if it's exceptional, games, world news..and i am an old man. who needs FOX or CNN for that matter?

my point is, it sucks so bad, it's dying...

it simply can't compete; the business structure was built around you having at max 3 choices of what to watch in a timeslot. cable started screwing with them in the 80's but now the internet has em starving. advertisers know that they don't have a captive audience anymore and aren't willing to pay as much for commercial time. it's a downward spiral from here.

This makes me so happy. In my opinion, most T.V. people are way way way overpaid for the raw garbage they produce. I've met Gordon Rothman, a producer for CBS, and I told him I want to see T.V go down. He got really pissed off. It was great.

I pretty much stopped watching or trusting most news during 9/11. i think it was the first time i really felt like my mind was being controlled but specifically this one thing on CNN where they were covering what had happened and then went to a clip of like arabs dancing in the streets in iraq? this was at time when most people were glued to the tv watching coverage of this event and they show footage like this. i can't imagine the negative image it must have planted in American's heads just presenting this idea that the people in the countries they are saying are responsible for this were celebrating. well it came out later that they were actually using footage from ten years ago when i suppose kuwait gained its independence? Something along those lines. i'm kinda surprised its the publicly second most trusted network.

I'm pretty sure my mom uses these tactics though. So yea it is kind of an everyday thing. i think it's certainly something to worry about when people who are supposed to be delivering "truth" to the public are using these tactics when trying to get the truth out of someone. that they are not actually being journalists at all.

I don't like FOX news either, but this has nothing to do with FOX news.

Yeh don't be foolish and think fox is the only one to do this.  All cable news is bad like this and they all follow the orders of their cfr :picard:buddies...

NLP sounds technical and scientific but is just a load of ineffective garbage which people pay money to be taught.

All I saw when he dropped his hands was a reenactment of 9/11, but I suppose I have a different imprint of the cause of it than the fox viewers do.  Isn't a fox a carnivorous creature that jumps on it's prey?  Aren't there many myths with foxes as tricky, magical beings?  hmmm...

If you feel yourself stuck in a negative feedback loop, get out of it.
The receiver is obviously not open to change, and is equalizing it's superior view of something by sending force or distraction.  It's OK to talk to a wall, but if it starts dropping bricks on your head...

Didn't an author of the 9/11 commission report end up confessing part of it was lies.  I thought for sure it would discredit the whole book and the guvment for allowing lies to be circulated as truth on such a sensitive subject, but it was spun so that he was the only untrustworthy focal point, so all is well in many minds.

I haven't watched TV in years, aside from the occasional presidential message.  Even then it's just to see what he's planting.  TV is flashy and fragmented.  Time jumps.  Points of view rapidly change.  Colors dance on the wall behind you.  Messages and programming are split so people have to take in completely unrelated info just to get back to enjoying the show.  And we wonder why people have attention deficit disorder.  Add to it the fact that most of the time they're watching faked emotion, and that commerce supports such faking.  Do you want fries with that?  A well greased system.
