I think it's incredible.
I've got a Roku hooked up to my TV. We've pretty much watched every season of The Office, Heroes, Weeds, House, etc. that's available on DVD.
We're quiet people who watch documentaries and a bit of standup here and there.. the movies are very good, too.
The only issues I ever had were when my internet connection sucked on top of their Office Season 2 being in terrible quality and not HD either.
One complaint in this long ain't bad.

Still gold-tinted, her face like our night stars,
Drawing unto her; her body beaten about the flame,
Wounded by the flaring spear of love,
My first of all by reason of her fresh years,
Then is my heart buried alive in snow.
The universe is transformation: life is opinion.

I'm on the free trial for two weeks and love it, am taking full advantage of the free streaming or instant queue on my lap top or on the TV through my XBOX360.
The down would have to be their crappy selection of movies on the watch instantly sections, the turn around has been pretty fast so far but I guess the free trial only allows for one movie at a time and that sucks but I have a long list of movies in my mail delivery queue, wish they were available to watch instantly, don't know why the aren't and that will probably make me not keep the service.

i love netflix. been signed up for years.
it all depends on how many movies youre really going to watch. i watch an almost inhuman amount of movies so it works out for me.
the only time it takes more than a day or two is if you ship out on a friday cause of the weekend.
whats everyones username? the friend feature is kinda cool.

if you like streaming to your 360/ps3, then just download some good torrents and use http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/
Then, use and old computer and install http://www.freenas.org on it, fill that bitch with drives, and stream your free movies to your hearts desire, i recommend .mkv files in 720p with DTS sound.

my only problem with relying on torrents is that i watch some really obscure stuff. its not always available via the torrent networks.. for that matter theres a bunch of films that netflix doesnt have either..

You should check out my VHS selection. I worked at a video store 5 or 6 years ago when they were getting rid of all there VHS.
I doubt slave girls from beyond infinite , Galactic gigolo or billy the kid vs Dracula ever made it to dvd . but then again raw head rex and 1990: bronx warrior did. I love b movies

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

they sound like a lot of fun i love a good b movie.
some (semi) popular movies arent on there. Airborne was a fav when i was younger. that just came to dvd and netflix doesnt have it.
for anyone who doesnt know/remember Airborne was from 1993 staring Seth Green and Jack Black about a surfer whos stuck in Cincinnati for the winter.

I've tried both blockbuster and netflix and currently have netflix. My turnaround is 2 days 90% of the time. Only drawback is getting new releases seems to take longer and longer. Have been waiting for weeks for several new releases. Might have to go to redbox for those. Overall I'm pretty happy with netflix.

i just saw Paris, Texas last night. it won the Palme d'Or at Cannes in 1984. i really think its one of the best movies ive ever seen (and thats a lot ).
i just finished watching Citizen Kane and im about to throw on The Secret In Their Eyes.
i think House Of The Devil comes out on tuesday. def check that out. if you like classic 70s horror movies like Halloween or Texas Chainsaw Massacre they you will love that one.
oh and Hard Candy with Ellen Page. that movie was INTENSE.
