 13-Year-Old Saudi Girl Sentenced to 90 Lashes and Jail For Bringing a Cell Phone to School

A 13-year-old Saudi schoolgirl is to be given 90 lashes in front of her classmates after she was caught with a mobile camera phone.
The girl, who has not been named, was also sentenced to two months in jail by a court in the eastern city of Jubail.
She had assaulted her headmistress after being caught with the gadget which is banned in girl schools, said Al-Watan, a Saudi newspaper. The kingdom's use of such punishments has been widely condemned by human rights organisations.
Three years ago 16 schoolchildren, aged between 12 and 18, were each sentenced to between 300 and 500 lashes for being aggressive to a teacher.

I cannot say that what they do over there is wrong, because, in the end it is integral to the future of our survival.
With my limited perspective, i am unable to understand their actions, and as a result, i harbour a severe hatred towards them.
Whether this hatred is accurate, i don't know, but i can say ultimately we will all be victims to natural processes that govern our existance. And that somewhat softens the blow of hearing news like this. for me at least.

This might sound harsh, but the girl did attack her teacher. She wasn't lashed for bringing a cell phone to class. If you go after your teacher, you've got it coming.
There's far worse examples of Saudi human rights abuses - such as the girl who was gang raped and sentenced to lashing (the Saudi king reversed the decisions), the 75-year old woman sentenced to lashing for being with two unrelated males in her home, and the man who was sentenced to lashing and 5 years in prison for bragging about his sex life on television.

That's exactly what im arugeing Chubba, they are animals.
If you look beyond culture, religion, all that stuff. You get to the core of the issue.
That this particular division of our species has evolved in this particular way. It is may be that the result of this evolution has ended in failure.
Nevertheless they are slaves to their past. Sure, individuals has certain freedoms to change, but as a whole the main organism functions the same.
You need to look at the big picture. When i say i can't understand their actions, it is because my perspective is tuned towards a very personal scope. I believe that to understand anything, you must first understand everything.
But don't get me wrong, i don't think that we should just say, well, i don't understand anything, so i won't do anything to stop these people. I think we should follow our gut, so to speak. Go with what we inately feel is right. Stamp those mother fuckers out.
