 My job in real life (id get banned for this!!)

I am a Corrections Officer for the NCDOC. Im only 5'4", but i can walk in a dorm, and what i say goes. you wanna know why? im not a dick, i let these guys(inmates) away with murder(just about), i let them smoke in the dorms, i let them eat on their bed. if they are tired, i let them sleep. if its 2 in the morning, and you have court the next day or something, ill let you watch tv. i smoke weed every day 15 mins before i walk through the sallyport, and half the guys(inmates) know it, however i have never once been threatened with blackmail or anything. i have had disciplinary action taken against me for conduct unbecoming, but i dont give a fuck. im not a dick, as long as the guys(inmates) are cool, and behave when my sgt. ot cpt. comes around. am i still a piece of shit cop/leo/pig/ whatever?

My brother was the same way here then he fucked up and started slagin tobacco he says. But one inmate asked him he told them no then another asked him he said ya. Well the first inmate found out. Next thing you know my brother quit because he was in fear for his life. Dont make that mistake!

hey OP I have mad respect for you as I have spent more time than I ever wanted in jail and it was CO's like you that made time go by faster and the place more comfortable to deal with.
we had CO's just like that would turn there head to the inmates that respected them and we got away with anything. ! CO straight up told me that if the other inmates where about to snort drugs or smoke weed or ciggs to come to him and play cribbage with him so if for some reason they did get caught by some one else while he was on watch his alibi was "hey I was playing cribbage and I just did my rounds sorry wont happen again"
inmates gave me free shit all the time for this and also one time this kid tried to throw coffee on me right in front of him and I pumbled the kid and the CO said I didnt see any thing (talking to the other inmate) all I heard was a thump from you falling out of your bunk. Now didnt I?
I never even spoke to any one about that
There needs to be more CO's like you
