I went paintballing yesterday for the first time in a long time, and it was an all-day hardcore war. My whole body is sore as shit, I can't hardly move without some kind of pain. But my first flush is ready to be picked.
So anyway, will taking a morphine adversely affect the trip somehow? What about methadone? And if those two are no good, what about just some Tylenol and Benadryl?

Less effect, but if you are in so much pain that you need to take something, its a bad idea to eat mushrooms.

Morphine might mellow out the psychedelic experience somewhat but IME the combination never took away from the visual aspect and made the trip a lot more euphoric, although you will probably not have as many deep epiphanies as you would without the opiate. Methadone will act similarly but lasts for much longer.
Taking too much Benadryl will probably induce drowsiness which generally does not mix well with psychedelics. If your Tylenol contains opiates then see above, otherwise it may contain antihistamines which act similarly to Benadryl or DXM, which in high doses is a dissociative. Personally I'd just wait until you've fully recovered before you trip.

I didn't mean to diss anyone Thisfire, and I do greatly appreciate any and all advice I'm given. All I meant is that I especially appreciate replies with explanations of their answers.
Thanks to yours, and everyone else advice, I think I'm going to take a very low dose of morphine now and take the shrooms much later this evening if I feel up to it and feel as though the main effects of the morphine have worn off.
I guess I also should have pointed out that I have an extremely high tolerance to the drugs I mentioned, besides shrooms.
