My first smoke of the day is usually anxiety ridden but Ive found this was because I was high but not high enough.
Id get to where I felt like I was having a panic attack, racing thoughts, self conscious, freaking out about past social interactions and nervous.
I didnt believe my friend when he told me the anxiety came from not being high enough, because I felt like I was too high.
Then when I smoked more I mellowed out and got to feeling good.
I cant really buy it either because Im broke and unemployed and Ive been using booze/herb/benzos to help me sleep for so long I just dont sleep without em.
Im about 125 and can drink 300 lb dudes under the table.

Benzo addiction is pretty serious. I've read of the withdrawal literally killing people.
I've been on Ativan (lorazapam) for the past 6 months or so for anxiety, and I've never gotten high from them.
(I never really did enjoy benzos recreationally anyways, they always just put me to sleep).
Actually I just ran out of my last refill, I'm going to try and see if I can function without them.
I've been slowly tapering over the past month so I hope it won't be a big deal.
I have a shitload of kava extract though just in case, to help appease my poor GABA.
I'd say you should get a script, but don't take them everyday like me. If you take them once or twice a week you should be fine.
Oh and be very careful mixing with alcohol, that's a sure recipe for a blackout.

atavin sucked imo...kpins or Valium work for me much better. ive been on benzos for years tho, so i got a hefty tolerance.

Also becoming addicted to benzos is verrrry easy. It really sneaks up on ya.
I guess I never thought I was addicted because I didn't get "high" from it, but I was wrong..
Once I ran out early and had to deal with the WD for a few days.
Benzos are really good for anxiety, insomnia, and coming off of other drugs like opiates.
I imagine they'd work the same way coming off alcohol.

yea,,i enjoy benzos. but i need them for medical reasons. and they help when i come off opiates.
Valium is usually prescribed for people coming off alcohol

I could have been on Xanax but I needed something I could take at work and not get all doped out on, which is what happens when I take Xanax.
Ativan sucks recreationally yeah, but it gets rid of anxiety without making you feel dopey.
It's more potent than Valium too.. I think like 1mg Ativan = 10mg Valium.

i take .5mg lorzepams three times a week.
i always do 1mg before a boom or dmt trip - calms my nerves.
i get them from a friend, not rx - so i don't think i'm at risk for addiction.

i was on xanax for about a year and half..but its its half life is way too short so i would get rebound anxiety and led to addiction a lot faster...i had a tolerance . so 10 mg of xanax just relaxed me.
now im on 1mg of kpins 3 times a day and restoril as needed for sleep.... .25mgs of kpins is equal to .5mg of xanax...
i believe 1mg of atavin is equal to 5 mgs of valium..but imo valium is much better.. if you take about 3mgs or more of atavin can be pretty fun *i kno,,,no dosage talk..sorry, just explaining*
this will help...its a chart for all the benzos..but just cuz you need more mgs of one doesnt really mean its shittier..i mean temazepam is strong as fug and it takes like 60mgs where as the same person may only need like 2 mgs of xanax...still only 2-3 pills each tho..

Yeah I'm sure Valium is probably better (and Klonopins too for that matter) but I just never really needed anything else because the Ativan did the job.

yea use what works mane...atavin didnt do much..helped a lil, but def didnt help me sleep.
that chart i posted is pretty handy though i think.
xanax is the devil of benzos..def the most addictive of them imo

I'd highly recommend maintaining a healthy diet, keeping a good sleeping pattern, and exercising regularly. Lay off all recreational drugs for a few months too and then see how you feel. Trust me, you don't want to get addicted to benzodiazepines.
