 What the fuck is up with people smoking Roxies (or any pills for that matter)?

Seriously, what's up with this trend of smoking pills? Who thought this was a good idea? It seems like everywhere I turn another person has foils laying around with little black trails from smoking pills.
Now I'm not completely dissing it because I don't know if they're actually getting high, but it just seems that the novelty of it is was draws people in.
Anyone here ever smoke a pill? Did you get high?

I'm convinced it's completely useless, maybe placebo, or some headrush from smoking talc/chalk is what people get.
However, many people will tell you oxycodone is activated at that temperature and smoking pills isn't stupid.
We used to smoke pills when we were like 14.

People smoke Oxycontin's and they are most definitely getting high, I've never done it I always just snorted them.

I worked with two guys that were addicted to oxy big time. they each smokes probably 5 80s a day and that's just what I saw at work. they were ok guys but total junkies.

Having never done any research or trying it, I had always assumed that smoking them would get you high. You can smoke opium so shouldn't other opiates be active when smoked?

yeah they got high. they burned beans alllllll day long. Both of em turned to total assholes if they didn't smoke a bean regularly, I felt bad for them.

I've smoked a crushed up vicodin on top of a bowl.
HUGE body load/numbness.
Not something I'd do often though...
