Just last night had the most amazing fucking journey.
Don't have time to do it justice just yet, but I'll lay down the basics here and then elaborate as I have had time to digest it all.
As a preview I'll just say this: It was an incredibly positive experience, intense, visual, spiritual, scary at times, peaceful at times, and kind of life changing in a strange subtle way.
As another preliminary, let me say thanks to the shroomery and all the amazing resources and people here to guide and reassure me along the way.
So - the particulars:
1.7 grams thai lipa yai strain, home grown off brf cakes, dried cracker dry and ground into the most fine powder imaginable. Soaked in fresh squeezed juice of one lime + one lemon + about 5 ounces of cranberry juice.
Had the set and setting and mental focus all just right, didn't eat for about 4 hours ahead, had a really strong fresh ground ginger tea and a couple of tums an hour ahead of time.
Had buckethead ready for the preliminaries, shpongle for the journey, and Dark Side of the Moon for the return trip ready on the ipod, a good friend by my side, glow sticks, fog machine, warm cozy room, blankets, water, oranges, etc.
Drank it down at midnight, tasted really good actually. At about 10 minutes started to feel a little "swimmy", had to sit down and hold on to something. At about 20 minutes it just washed over me and the journey was off to a fast start.

First - the fun and games and visuals:
We went from "yeah I think I'm starting to feel a little something" to full on open eye visuals within maybe 5 to 10 minutes, so by 30 minutes into the trip it was this maelstrom of "come up". The walls started breathing first, and at about the same time the perspective of the room got all strange with the far end of the room looking very much like it was uphill and that it was much smaller than normal. Before too long I started to see tracers of certain decorations hanging on the walls, glowing 'cats eye' gems from anything with a high reflective surface, and a growing overall vibration and swaying of the visual field.
There was a door knob on the other side of the room that looked like it was made of shining diamonds and encrusted with pearls or some white opalescent sphere. There was a punching bag over there with a logo on it that appeared to be glowing brightly and moving around a bit.
The fog machine left these long slow motion intense clouds in the air that seemed to have shelves and almost faces and seemed to respond to hand movements and produced some really intense visuals.
Glow sticks seemed to have bubbling lava inside them, and a red/orange glowstick looked like the heart of a sun it was so intense and beautiful looking.
A large poster of the planet Jupiter seemed to be fully and continuously animated - with flowing pearly liquid flows in it that just kept moving and changing and flowing and glowing, no matter how closely we examined it.
Similarly, the wood grain in the unfinished ceiling joists were glowing and flowing, and some exposed metallic insulation was beautiful and gem like.
Colors of the walls and ceiling would occasionally overlay to brownish reds and yellows. My friends eyes would glow cat-like, and our faces and hair looked distorted to one another.
Eventually we ventured around exploring and the large mirror was disturbing to look at to say the least. Taking a leak in the bathroom was a strange crystalline show with weird echoic sound and glowing white light everywhere.
Closed eyes weren't very pronounced, but we were a bit terrified of keeping our eyes closed most of the time. When I did relax into it, there were spinning diamond geometric patterns of blue and gold.

My experience with the lemon tek has always been much much more powerful than I expected.

Sorry to be a noob, but what exactly is Lemon Tek? I see the word Tek around this forum alot and now im really curious.

"tek" is short for technique i believe...
tek usually refers to a "how-to", or a step by step way of doing things.
Lemon Tek is a way of ingesting your shrooms. the shrooms are ground up into powder the put in straight lemon juice and soaked for a while. the idea here is that the lemon juice does what your stomach acids do: it "pre digests" the actives before it enters your stomach, so when you do consume them, you skip a step and you immediately absorb what you're looking for. thats a simple explanation, do a search on the subject for a more detailed explanation if interested.
people have reported very strong experiences this way, with significantly less mushrooms consumed by weight. it also has a very fast come up, very intense peak, and an overall shorter duration.

Glad you had a good time. Last night I did a gram of PE in the lemon tek and another 2 grams in tea. Took the lemon shot and sat around til i felt spaced out. Then sipped on my tea throughout the night. Ended up tripping for around 7 hrs. Lemon tek rules

I'm still very much a n00b, and my total ride was only about 4.5 hours, with a long gentle tail - I can't imagine tripping hard for twice that long, or 3 times that long in the case of LSD. Its just too much!
