First harvest and a couple of questions :)

So I just woke up and saw that my mushrooms had popped their veil! OH NOES! Time for harvest!
PES Amazonian, pf tek cakes in a SG FC.
When I came to harvest I saw what i'm pretty sure is just some blue bruising on top of the cakes... but just wanted to make sure(such a newbie question )

Now while some of my shrooms are nice and thick, none of them are very big really and a lot of hollow stems. This could be because of the temperature which has been sitting 80+ the whole time i've been fruiting(unavoidable unfortunately). My house has almost no air circulation in it so i've been misting/fanning almost every 2 hours to keep up the FAE but they're still hollow. :(
However because not all the mushrooms on the cake were ready for harvest, and the majority are still quite small and have thin stems i've left them on the cake.
This is my first harvest out of 5 cakes.

It weighs at 38g wet. I'm pretty experienced in dosing with P. Subs and usually do around 3g dried using lemon tek for a level 2-3 trip. So if I ate all of these now... would I get much from it? I'm happy but sad... but at least i'm showing progress Thanks for your time!

Would the bruising be from malicious misting, or from not enough water? :/
I've also noticed that my shrooms are only growing from the top, or the bottom of the cake, that would indicate not enough humidity right?
I'm just trying to see the areas in my technique that need improvements.
So i'm gonna try and work up the courage to eat all these freshies now... the stems are now almost all blue after washing the verm off them.. they look so tasty but I know it'll leave a horrible taste in my mouth

I think the rule of thumb is 10x the amount you eat dried. so you would be just a cunt hair over 3g when they dry. obviously some vary, but I think you would have fun eating all them babies! if you don't like the taste, make some tea! me and my girl ran hot water through the shrooms like 7-8 times then squeezed em and added a Lipton tea bag for flavor and....kaboom! 20 minutes and we were soaring!

I would think that "where" the mushies grow from on any given cake would have more to do with exposure to light, evaporation and fresh air exchange. I've noticed that on rolled cakes, pins seem to from 1st on the areas that are exposed to light, like the "rim" of the cake were verm falls off after drying out a bit. I've also noticed that they grow in the direction of fresh airflow.

Mmm i'm eating em now with some ribena to wash them down.
The thick stemmed cubes are sooooooo stringy and they have more of a storebought mushroom taste compared to the woodlovers i normally eat.
This will be my first experience with cubes but definitely not my last!
