wow - what time of year? i ask becouse in our emisphere, i find that i have excessive contams in the fall, progressively decreasing towards spring. i wonder if its just me or if others experience such seasonality in their contams rates

That would actually make sense, if you live in the right climate then leaves are falling off the trees in the fall, and as there are decaying leaves and all plant matter is dying, there should be a lot more nasties around than otherwise. As winter goes on it lessens until spring where it is all eaten up and usable for new plants. But that doesn't take into account the fact that all growth slows during winter, so I guess that leaves us where we started.
Well, nevermind.
