I can easily identify yin and yang in an electron...about as easily as i can identify yin and yang in any other "thing". If you can say that something IS and electron (yin) there must be something that IS NOT an electron (yang). This is the nature of duality...the nature of yin and yang. Once you identify "something" it immediately implies that it has an opposite...hence the little dot of yin in yang and visa versa.
