It would make sense if you'd point out the particular substrate the different mushrooms grow on, as well as coloration, maturing procedure (like when you take a look at the Ps. cyanescens, the wavy cap develops, when it matures and isn't there from the beginning etc.).
It would be nice, if you had a little more structure in the explanations, so to say the order of information should be the same for every mushroom to make it easier to differentiate the particular peculiarities.
Now that's a what I call database expansion. I should add a user wiki as well.

I'm sorry I read that wrong I was stoned earlier.
I definitely agree the information needs to be more organized, at the time being I was just pasting some wikipedia information into the database. It was a placeholder till I collected a good amount of information on each species.

What's the fastest way to give you the information that you'd find most beneficial for the project?

I'm thinking a nice structure should be set in place, then its fill in the blank from there.
We would need: Where it grows, what it grows on, when it grows, visual characteristics, other species associated with or similar to.
Just make the first one and the rest will follow its pattern.

Good reference, I suppose I'll pick out what I like about his way of describing and put together my own.

Stamets is never categorized as eloquent, but he really is eloquent and designed for long-term reading. I think his book is hands down the most solid reference on psilocybin mushrooms. It's recent as of 1996, nearly 13 years ago.

In that case I'll definitely see about getting the book. I need some good reading material anyways.
