Domesticating wild cubes(+ giveaway is done for now)
    #11324567 - 10/26/09 12:41 PM (2 years, 6 months ago)

I have been working with a couple wild cube one is from TX and the other from FL.  The TX print is finally giving good consistent results.
The first specimens came from Texas near the Mexico boarder collected by a reservoir called simply Reservoir number one,  the spores I have been labeling as CH-1.  The original mushrooms where not very large but had thick meaty stems with small caps and bruised bright blue.  The earlier generations looked similar to PE,  but even with cloning and printing only shrooms with those characteristics they don't look like PE anymore.  They still have the meaty stem and smaller caps but most have a nipple cap.  The spore prints are dark but have hints of red/rust color.
Now after several isolation, clones and ten generations from spores they are colonizing and fruiting aggressively.
I am sending spores to Workman for a better ID,  I think it will be just another cube.

I have several syringes to give away,  if you would like to study this cube then post here.

You MUST be in a legal state.
You must have been on this site for more than six months.
You must promise to never sell these spores(keep them free).
Post your microscopic;) findings here.
Leave me a good general rating.:peace::heart::mushroom2:

CH
This was fourth generation.

:pm: me if you have questions about lasers

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.
