PF Jar Contamination?

When I made my first PF jars three weeks ago, I didn't get the substrate down inside the jar very well in one spot, and so it's very "airy." There is like a gap in the substrate, the mycellium has colonized all the way around the hole, but not over the hole. If you look at the very bottom of the jar, there is a red and black dot starting to form...hoping for the best. Can post pics if requested, but I doubt the possible contam is large enough to see on camera. Thanks guys!

First off you want the BRF cake to be airy and fluffy when you put it in the jar. When you compact it down it makes it harder for the myc to colonize then it can become a problem for contams. I would like to see a pic if you can take a good one.
Red and black dots forming usually are not a good sign, sometimes the verm can play tricks on your eyes thoe

I'd watch them 'dots' very carefully. If they start to spread then chuck the jars... start over.
