I've seen closet grows before that pretty much received no lighting but produced prolifically. The mushrooms were growing every which way though.

No light during colonization.
Once colonized, you initiate fruiting by increasing FAE and lighting 12 on and 12 off.

and i'm just saying to get the best specimen from which to get prints from, i chose my lighting carefully... the fuckers will grow no matter what, fart on them 12hrs on and 12hrs off they'll still grow but for optimum fruits i think light plays some roll... is that how you spell "roll"???
