CYANOFRISCOSA - CENTRAL EUROPE 2009

A Rockefeller / Nightflyer production. :wink:

Alan sent me a Psilocybe cyanofriscosa print last December
and I created a patch during March 2009. I post it here,
because it's Alan's forum and without his print this
thread would not exist.

Deep inside of a European forest:

and they will spread...

Sick! Those are some beautiful specimens. How did you create the patch? PF/Grain to woodchips, or some other method?

Rye grain spawn > cardboard > woodchips

hehehe, what's it going to be called now? Cyanoeuro. Good work! To increase some spreading take some of the mature ones(that have already dropped plenty spores) and cut off the stem buts and lay them onto some more wood-loving areas nearby :laugh:

. Next year will be even more fun.

+5 Shrooms for spreading them across the globe in the wild!

I love those rhizomorphs adorning the base of the stipe, and the blue pigment!

The work is well on the way. :smile:

Slug bait (non-toxic to other animals) is sometimes necessary.
Slugs can completely destroy a mushroom patch overnight.

I'm anticipating a beautiful flush of species B from your experiment, it will be interesting to see if you get any specimens that exhibit this interesting lamellae formation!

Yes, I agree, I have seen many pins devastated by slugs and snails, the only good thing about it is that they do an excellent job of dispersing spores!
