Salvia leaves browning
    #11171662 - 10/02/09 06:44 PM (2 years, 7 months ago)

So what are some causes of salvia leaves browning?

I have a friend watching my plants right now because I'm not in the situation to be growing them here, but apparently both of my salvia plants are beginning to brown on the edge of their leaves.

I imagine this is due to some form of stress. The fertilizer I use for them is fairly in Nitrogen, could this be a problem?

At first sight, The Perfection of Wisdom is bewildering, full of paradox and apparent irrationality.

Poor airflow, sudden drop in humidity, chlorine from tap water, or basically sally not liking her conditions. Any stress really can cause this.

I've overfertilized and it usually results in a yellow / burned look on the leaves. Show me a pic of the leaf browning if you can.

I repotted 3 plants and they are all showing a little brown at the tips, I think its just a shock thing as they are otherwise ok.
