 substituting sodium BIcarbonate for sodium carbonate to regulate PH?

So, i have a hot tub, and with it came a collection of bottles of chemicals, one of which brought up the PH. Its sole active ingredient is Sodium Carbonate.... and I'm out, but i do however have a full box of sodium BI-carbonate (baking soda)
will the baking soda work to raise the ph in my hot tub? if so, how much would i need to use to raise the ph 0.1? its 275 gallons

Well, what I know is that Sodium Bicarbonate will dissociate into the sodium ion and the bicarbonate ion.
Bicarbonate is a weak acid (as well as a weak base), and it partially dissociates to carbonate.
Whats the current pH of your water?

You could use baking soda but its a weak base, sodium carbonate is much stronger base. If you are really trying to be cheap you could get some lye and add that. Probally won't need that much too.
As for the calculations part I would go with the add some check pH and add some more method.
