Just wondering about the appearance of DMT crystals. The crystals my friend is loooking at are almost like powder it seems. Is this okay?

They're most likely freeze-precipitated crystals. Those are usually more pure than the ones that form by solvent evaporation.

Fair enough, that's what I figured. First time I've ever seen the stuff thanks to nature boy's tek. Also, how is it best handled when loading it into a device? I feel like if I simply picked it up, that a lot would rub off on my fingers and be wasted.

I usually just make a little shovel-like apparatus out of aluminum foil to scoop up the DMT and place it into the pipe or bong. Then I sweep the residue off the aluminum foil with a razor into the smoking device. Pretty much anything will work but definitely don't use your hands.
