 Question about subscribing to posts/threads.

For instance.
The Free Spore Print Thread
In order to see any changes in my threads list, I had to post in that thread. Now I can see whenever it changes.
How does one subscribe to see changes, but not have to post?
Reverse
How does one also unsubscribe to a thread so it's not in the threads list?

at the very bottom left of the page their is a link that says "toggle favorites"
when you are in that thread click that link and it puts it into your "account". So when you click "account" it shows that thread.

I think this is wrong.
Like when I click threads, there are threads that I posted in, but long ago. How do I remove those threads from my threads list?

Please note that the 'account' link and the 'threads' link are different.
When you click 'toggle favorite', that topic will show up when you click the 'account' link, under the 'favorite topics' header. Or you can go here. This is a good way to bookmark interesting posts for future reference, even if you haven't participated in them. You can also opt to receive an e-mail notification when one of your favorite topics receives a reply, under your notification preferences. This sounds to me like it's what you want.
If you click the 'threads' link, it will show all the threads which you've ever posted in, ordered by most recent activity. Technically it's possible to hide a thread here by clicking the folder next to it once or twice, but this will prevent you from seeing it anywhere on the site. The 'threads' link is intended as a way for you to track the activity of all the threads where you've posted, not the ones you've manually toggled as favorites. I don't think it's what you're looking for, although it may still be useful for other purposes.
