I could be wrong though, it's been a year since I read that type of stuff. And I think most of our actives appear around the same temps, except for maybe Panaeolus.
Again, I haven't read anyhting about temps since last year and my memory can be atrocious at times.
All I know is it needs to be wet and cold. A few more weeks for actives, and the inactives are popping up now that the rains have begun.
I found Psilocybe cyanescens in the snow last year.

Hoping this year kicks ass. Got some good rain and colder temps are on the way. Oh yea baby, oh yea! Also, just curious if anybody knows whether the moon plays any role in the cycle of cyans?

This thread has been closed.
Reason: 5. Do not make threads or posts discussing or reporting the weather. This includes complaining about the weather, asking if the current weather is "good for shrooms", or how long to wait after rain fall to go hunting. As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 1-10 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, and the time of year is correct then it is very likely that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
