semilanceata identification
    #10990592 - 09/03/09 12:58 AM (2 years, 8 months ago)

So here's some fungi that i pressume are all semilanceatas :

#1 sample

  • habitat: my backyard, lawn. Southern Finland. Both pictures are in about about meter area
  • gills are blackish (the color is identical to identified semilanceata's gill color =D)
  • stem is very flexible
  • cap shown in pics

#2 sample

  • habitat: found growing in grass on a sunny day
  • the ground was pretty dry, so are these good?
  • you may see I have made two groups of them and I think the right ones are a bit younger, am I correct?

#3 sample

SO these were as dry as in the picture below when we found 'em. My question is can you eat semilanceatas that have dried while growing.

  • habitat: lawn, in the same part of the town as the ^samples
  • Gills: blackish
  • stem wasn't too flexible 'cos they were so dry

Great to have them in your own backyard

You can eat the dry ones.
