 1st lemon tek, mtn biking, strange berries, etc

so i woke up to sunshine yesterday around noon. shoulda woken earlier but i was expecting rain. anyhow i lemon tek'd a g (all i had) of quezon in a hurry, and hopped on my bike.
i got to the chill spot (2 miles singletrack ride) in the woods and discovered awesome colorful hippie love graffiti-murals, new since my last visit. which is great 'cause often times there's hateful s**t on the wall.
though i was high, it was evident this wasn't going to be "that kind" of head trip and i was going to have to entertain myself with a secondary activity.
so i cruised. there are a fair number of trails out here, with hills, rocks gardens, log crossings, and plenty of mud. i tried to get lost but failed-- i mapped the trails thoroughly 10 years ago. wished right away i would have switched on clipless pedals beforehand, but i wasn't planning on doing much riding.
i did find myself inside a black raspberry bush who gave me a delicious breakfast and on whom i crumbled some fruity heddies in return. i also put the raspberry patch back together on my way out which meant velcro-ing the individual plants up on one another in a most vertical fashion.
later on a exhausted my liter of water so i went off trail and crashed out. i spotted a half-dozen species of fungus on the way and wished i woulda brought my shroom guide. there were lots of amanitas and the translucent purple shrooms too, young and old.
i found some blueberries, which i don't even like usually but these were fantastic. my first time spotting blueberries at this low elevation.
i puffed a bunch on the comedown and chilled on my head until it started raining and i headed home. continued to enjoy the neuron buzz i love so much until finally i drank a very hoppy brew and ate a lot of guacamole.
overall, a great day. although i am not a believer in lemon tek as it felt like any other g trip.
but it was nice to remember the earth is still green before i head back to the city tomorrow.
