A science fiction film about a man who falls in love with a cyborg, but must choose between saving her and saving mankind. Directed by Min Byung-chun and stars Yu Ji-tae and Lee Jae-eun. (From South Korea, in Korean, English subtitles) (Science Fiction) (2003) MAV (V) WS
Watching this now. For those who enjoy chips in ya head and cyborgs and shit go hire or d/l it.

In the flick a DNA scientist finds a Human with a similar/same section of the brain to a cyborg, and attempts to reload the cyborgs chip onto the human.

Well based on your initial description, and the trailer you posted, the plot sounds like a knock off of Blade Runner:
Cyborgs/replicants rise against humanity, wanting to live forever; special human police force made to exterminate them; protagonist, who is a cyborg/replicant hunter, falls in love with one of the cyborgs/replicants and has to choose between his love and his duty.
Do you agree?

i thought BR cyborg were out for independence, these ones are still under someones controll (well the military ones) but yeah the main bad one for what reason he had his own full self controll and no master I will have to re watch again, aswell as I belive towards the end of the movie the insinuate the the Dr/scientist doing the work for the cop is accually put into the bad cyborg?? i know wtf but hey baked remember! I am going to rewatch this flick again.
But yes the more I think of it yes its similar to BR but just all these smaller different things makes it seem so different!
But it was an awsome view into what may become of this world, love cyberpunk and cant wait till they finally produce William Gibson's 'Neuromancer', well all of his books really deserve to be put into film/anime.
