It happens all the time when people get to be about 30. Half the people I know that don't smoke used to love it, but once they got older it started making them really paranoid every time.
It doesn't happen to everyone, but its pretty common, seems to afflict about 20% of smokers.

Yeah I certainly dont get paranoid. IMO paranoid typically comes from fear of JAIL etc. because pot is illegal.
I have a son and a wife and I personally wouldnt feel any remorse killing any drug war agent who tried to ruin my life because of INSANE and HARSH drug laws. I just so happen to involve myself in activities that could land me a lot of jail time and Im at the point now where I feel so strongly towards this war on drugs bullshit, I wouldnt go down without a fight.

Plus, I think these guys are just stupid. They are confusing the party line of "marijuana has no accepted medical use because its properties should be administered in a controlled formulation of only the needed active ingredients" which is more reasonable with "marijuana has no medical benefit".
I honestly don't believe anybody at all paying attention is that stupid to say whats in the title, and I doubt they would claim such cuz its so transparently false.
I honestly think they are confusing their rhetoric, and likely made a mistake or got carried away with their bullshit.
It looks like I was correct.
The drug czar doesn't even know the party line, let alone the science, on this issue and got carried away in his bullshit- he strayed into totally indefensible territory inadvertantly.
He just clarified that what he meant was that marijuana when smoked has no medical benefit/use (forget which) and that the FDA hasn't recognized it as medically useful.
I mean really though, how ignorant are these guys? Isn't this his damn job? How could have have said what he said?
Do they just think "deny, deny, deny" and then get a bit carried away? Do they really have no idea what the facts are?
