 Bulk Baggin' - Agar => LC => Sub => Tray => Harvest - Update!

Making the LC
Items Needed:
Jars and lids
Tyvek
silicone
magnetic stirrer/marble
1 gallon water
1 Tblspn Dextrose
1 Teaspn Light Malt Extract
Lids w/ holes Flatten sharp edges Tyvek Envelopes Cut into squares
   
I usually mix a big pot of these ingredients to fill up multiple jars to abt 3/4 full. I put a magnetic stir bar in each jar, but a marble should do just fine.
Tyvek on jar Screw lid down
 
PC for 20-25 minutes
Let cool...
Cut agar wedges or Innoc w/ LC LC
  
It takes about 7-10 days until the LC is ready to use.

Making the bags
Items Needed:
Filter patch bags
Silicone sealant
Rubbing alcohol
Rubber bands
Coir
WBS - dry
Coarse Verm
Worm Castings
I swab the injection site with rubbing alcohol then squeeze a bead of silicone down and spread it out to approx an inch in diameter.
I've found that not doing it this way results in the ports coming off after PCing.
Making silicone port Prepping many bags
 
WBS, WC, & Verm Everything mixed w/ coir
 
Bags w/ sub Seal w/ rubber bands Single bag closeup
  
PC for 90-120 min.
Inoculate each bag with at least 120 ml of LC
Spawn run takes from 3-5 weeks

Making the trays
Items Needed:
Colonized bags
Deep roast pans
XL foil
micropore tape
Colonized MF Bags Broken up mycelium
 
Tray w/ bag Tray w/ Sub Tray w/ foil
  
Incubate for 3 days - no peeking!

Fruiting
Items Needed:
4-tier greenhouse
humidifier
No casing layer used
Pins Growing Mature Harvest
   
For the summer oyster strain I used the same steps for preparation of the substrate and inoculation with LC.
However, when fruiting I leave the colonized sub in the bag and cut the top off.

With a quick colonizing strain I can go from inoculation with LC to harvest in 5-6 weeks.
