this is around the 4th time opening jar and digging out sclerotium it just keeps producing... biggest globs yet! i havent a clue on the weight but im guessing 14ish grams or more there hefty!

From what I understand sclerotia are dense fruits that form invitro or on a casing layer of specific species. They taste like nuts apparently. I was looking at a thread about this the other day, interesting stuff with a lot of stealth potential, you can grow everything invitro and if discovered bares no resemblance to mushrooms other than the jars.

One thing I would be interested in is potency by weight relative to cubes, and wet weight vs dry weight (assuming the sclerotia can be dried)

yes there is currently a mexicana thread by cervantes, I believe it is very dense mycelium that is created to withstand droughts?

i got print in a trade.....and its done invitro but you can case the rye grass seed or wbs and get mushroom fruit bodys and weight compared to mushrooms is 70% water in sclerotium 90% in mushroom fruit bodys

What size jar are you working with?
And when you say you open it and dig out the stones, you mean in a glovebox? Or open air?

im working with a small 28oz i think pasta sauce jar with wbs..and ive been opening it open air done it 3x open air not doing any care in the world to sterilize just to see how long it lasts...well its still kicking and no contams....simply crazy! i use sterile procedure every time execpt with this species only used sterile procedure during inoculation....remember folks sclerotium takes alot longer then producing fruit bodys

This is something I'm wondering about as well, do you take off the lid and remove accessible stones? Empty the jar out like a cake and then pick stones off the sides? Or do you mean crumbling the cake and seperating the stones from the grain leaving you with a pile of broken up colonized grain like you were spawning it and a pile of stones? And if so, once broken up can you simply put it all back in the jar and let it fruit invitro again or do you have to spawn it something at this point?

That it's not contaminating doesn't surprise me, especially if you're taking care to sterilize the air before opening, simply because you're dealing with a block of colonized substrate. In my opinion you only need to worry about a jar contaminating if there is uncolonized substrate for a contaminant to land on and germinate. The idea of a single contam spore landing on a block of mycellium, successfully germinating on the mycellium and proceeding to take it over is a lot less probable in my mind. It's just common sense

growing stones is simple inoculate grains wait....then break up then empty it out of the jar and pick out sclerotium from the grains easiest way to grow a psilocybin containing species..like i said it just takes longer most of the times you see sclerotium sticking to side of the glass like this.... 
and P2K1 i did not even spray lysol or disinfectant in the air i had fan running and ac running every single time and most of the time using ungloved unclean hands..its amazing
