 2 Questions (Contaminated Spawn Jars & LC)

1- Do I have to PC my contaminated spawn jars?
RR suggests to do that but if you lose six jars at once, it'll be a waste of money & time...
I'll go outside with my jars, then I'll toss them out. I'll take lids on after tossing and come back home. Then I'll boil water and put it in jars in outside.
I'll take lids on again and enter home then.
Do you think is there any risk at this plan?
2- Can I use the same inoculation loop while working with different strains at LC? Do sanitizing with alcohol then flame sterilising is enough to kill the last used strain's spores?
PS. Sorry for my grammar mistakes. My English is a little broken, I know...

1) It is best to PC contaminated jars. Your way is acceptable, however.
2) Flame sterilizing will kill all spores.
3) Your English is fine, and it will get better as you read and write here. It's a special area of knowledge, with special words and terms.

I may be reading you wrong, so I apologize of that is the case.
You don't need to toss out the jars. You can safely PC them and use them again - just make sure you PC them for 90 minutes. If it makes you feel better, wash them in a dishwasher before/after/both, but the PC should do the job.
If you are having contam issues, I would strongly recommend seperating the possible causes as much as possible. Try to use different loops, syringes, etc, as often as intelligently possible. It will be much easier to ID the source of contam that way.

i know the procedures about sterile conditions. I just left my sterilized jars for 4 days, in this period they have been contaminated :S
Caladan_Shroom, i didn't mean tossing all of the jars out, i just mean inside of them, the contaminated substrate, of course
