Habitat: fertalized garden, soil base of local soil, store bought hummus/manuer,plenty of horse poo added in, im at the bottom of south carolina near georgia so.....havent a clue what this is Gills: color same as stem, attatched,
Stem: around 2-3 inches long,1/8-1/4inch stems,no bruising,brownish red stem,thick not hollow
Cap: 1/2inch wide, brownish on edges tan center, semi-conical cap, convex Spore print color: black spore print......
Bruising: none present Other information: scent is a normal mushroom smell deff not a cube smell more of a wood lover type smell.....and heres some pics

i know this has to be panaelous species just want to know a 100% what the mushroom is its like finding a cool looking plant and dont know its name cuz 100 other kinds of trees look like it....wish i had a microscope for better info but if these are active i have alot of mushrooms on my hand ill check 2morrow as these are still immature im sure of

They're a little darker than the ones I've seen, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Looks like a subb to me, look for the black spore print.

Looks like Panaeolus cinctulus except the stem is too dark.
Maybe its very interesting!
Can you see any blue bruising?
Perhaps you can mail some samples to someone who has a microscope.

They are pretty cool, take more pictures and make spore prints.
You can bioassay if you have enough, but its more important to save dried samples for science.

The third picture has a color similar to some Panaeolus rickenii. Not an id, something I came across when searching other stuff.

You should post some more pictures of those dark mushrooms. Sometimes I've noticed that the color can seem to drastically change on the stipe of cinctulus depending on the angle you're viewing from. From the top, they certainly look like they're cinctulus.
