when is the shroom season in southern england??? aroud the london area??

The season is HERE NOW  Found over 700 Liberty caps yesterday near the London area....Have found around 2000 so far this season....Happy hunting...Peace

...but will not be around for long. There are frosts moving down towards the south over the next week or two. There will still be shrooms after frosts, but not nearly as many, get out there now and make the most of it.

No, they talk geordie and yorkshire instead, or where I live a horrible love child of the two. If you wanna be finding them july till nov you better go right north, somewhere high in scotland

I went for a walk through some fields last week and all I managed to find was about 4.  Are there any active mushrooms in the UK that grow outside of the Sept - Nov peroid?

You should be able to find Cyans about now, though I'm not sure exactly when their season is.

Went hunting for the Libs again today and WOW,i found over 1,500 of the little suckers in 3-4 hours The most ive ever found b4 was 800 in a day....Once they are added to the 2000 i aready have dried it looks like im gonna be sorted for a very long time.....Hows everyone else doing?....As for other shrooms all ive ever found are Agarics...Peace

Bout 500 libs as of last weekend (two seperate picks). But I reckon the mild wet weather gonna hold out for a while...no probs remi. 
Found about half a pound of ps cyanescens last year hope it's another good one this year.

Been finding about 1000 Libs every other day now  Think im gonna have enough to last a long while....Hey Roger you talking bout Wavy Caps? I still cant find em  Will be checking out some forests this weekend,all i seem to find in the woods are Fly Agarics...Happy hunting all...Peace

i went up to staffordshire and derbyshire this past weekend and i was able to find some liberty caps...saw some amanita muscarias as well...

I thought i might as well make my first contribution here. So far its been a great season down in Devon. Went out this afternoon and found myself constanly picking i could of stayed in this one field for a whole day, literally every where i looked there were libs, i eventually stopped pickin once i got bored of it which was when my hoodie pockets were full. The most i reckon i've picked in one hunt for sure.

Hello guys!
I live in Holland, never seen a 'lib', and I would really much like to try some, but I just can't find ANY!! I only find some mushrooms which are very similar to the semilanceata, but they have white spores.... Since I am very inexperienced, maybe I don't look well enough, or in the wrong places, so does anyone maybe have any tips for me? The last days mushrooms are coming up everywhere, it is a bit late in the season, so I think it's now or never....
I am very eager to find some, so pleeeease help me!
