hey, new member but have been reading around for a little while went out on my first hunt with a couple of mates in the northern suburbs, found 3 mushrooms but only this one that i think might have a chance of being anything decent
have been reading through the melbourne 2009 season thread to find some comparisons but it is a little hard for me to tell yet
looking forward to my next hunt
thanks
Habitat: decaying mulch/tree debris
Gills: creamy/light brown and dark brown in some spots
Stem: 100mm long, around 4mm thick, creamy/light brown
Cap: 3cm diameter, brown with light brown patches, upturned
Spore print color: in progress, but i dont think it will work because it looks quite old
Bruising: nothing that i can see as it feels pretty dry
