Growing outside (jungle climate) Ecuador

Hello, I have a question regarding growing shrooms outdoors. I am living in Ecuador right now and had no luck finding perlite and vermiculite down here (trying since months). The cost for getting it shipped here are too high. I am moving to the entrance of the jungle in a few weeks, so there is loads of humidity and a pretty warm climate.
In my search on the site, I only could find outdoor teks where you still need the colonized cakes for growing outside (if I understood it all right). As I don't get perlite and verm down here I was wondering if there is a method, where I can just use the spore-syringes outside right from the start and basically grow outside from start to finish?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

No you still have to start your spawn indoors. But you dont need verm.
You can use grains, like rye, wild bird seed and colinise those then spawn them to an outdoor bed.
You could also use that grain to spawn to bulk without the need for verm.
You will need a pressure cooker, which is always handy to have anyway, since if you really get into this hobby, your going to want to move onto more efficient methods than the pf tek

If your serious about the grow, (which I assume you are), then You would want to start off with a grain inoculation. From there, you could do G2G or if you have many grain jars, then spawn to a compost pile outdoor. If you want too keep this indoors, then you could spawn to Hpoo and straw, or Coir and straw. Bottom line is that there are ways to get around the vermiculite and perlite problem. Search for outdoor grows on the site. There are PLENTY OF POSTS regarding your situation.

Yeah there are ways around perlite :-) which ill be putting into practice, not because i cant get it, but because im on a tight budget.
mini double tubs monotubs dont need perlite.
Also, if you build a martha/greenhouse, you run it with a humidifier, though it can help having a tray of perlite on a shelf when its not full

Thanks a lot guys!
I will have to do some reading than. It's just that I am a beginner and I was getting into the PF-Tek bigtime the last months (reading and learning). I loved it, because I don't have a pc and it looked easy for beginners and was so well explained, as well as in the tek as in the "lets grow" videos. The other methods seemed advanced...
When I saw there is no perl/verm around where I live it was a bummer. Its hard to get ANYTHING in Ecuador. Already bought the jars, build a shotgun terrarium and stuff...
Alright, time to adjust, I guess. Thank you again.

If you can get some grain spawn started, and maybe round up some horse poo, you should be able to get an outdoor project going pretty easy. Like veda said, there are many posts on here about outdoor grows. Spawn to your compost, hit it with the hose now and then, and wait for the magic. Not trying to jack the thread, but since veda mentioned it, on the subject of mini-monos, a FOAF was considering the 6 quart sterilite tubs in a dubtub config seeing as how he can get them for 96 cents a piece at the local mega-mart. It would be about the size of two shoeboxes stacked together. Of course the reason is that in case of a contam, one dead box wouldn't ruin the party for the rest, as would be the case with a big tub. The other advantage is that he could probably do one dubtub per quart of spawn>2 quarts poo mix, and spread the contam risk out. Keep me posted veda, I'm interested in the same idea. Peace guys. LOL, nevermind, while googling 6 quart sterilite, I found this thread.....

So what's your opinion veda? Good results? or is bigger worth the risk?

You ever seen that movie Constantine. Well they pass into hell several times. In hell there are melting human bodies, in your tub are melting mushroom bodies. Your tub had passed into mushroom hell.
