some people said it, there are two reasons
a) they feel better and think they don't have to take it
b) the side effects are bad and they don't want to take it
like someone said, most people that can't stay steady go through cycles of taking and not taking.

Yeah, great post Wiccan. Although one thing I don't understand is how does the taking of one pill to subdue inner life, and the taking of psychedelics, which by and large seem to intensify inner life, both find their way into the habits of a single individual?

A calmer, more steady baseline when sober, with small but significant psychedelic excursions. I'm immensely grateful for the profound healing psychedelics have facilitated in my life. I cleaned up the majority of my traumatic garbage (which had a major role in facilitating psychoses) through sessions of Psychedelic healing. I gained profound insights and worked through a lot of garbage. Haldol on the other hand has made my "sober" state more managable by diminishing intensity - actually helping the psychedelic advances be put to better use.
For me, it works, and has worked for 16 years now.
