 How do you feel love?

This troubles me. I say I love some people and I do, but I never ever feel it. This is wrong. If I can't feel love how can I be a loving person? How can I share love? How can I truly provide love, instead of saying the empty words 'I love you' that I know instead of believe?
I can easily see myself feeling love on psychedelics. Simply want to, and I'd receive. This is one of the reasons why psychedelics are truly amazing to me, this power they give your mind is unbelievable.
How do I feel love, sober, though? How? I'm lost.

I'm not dead, entirely, I feel love from time to time, but it's so rare and glimpsing. Apathy rules me. Advice, anyone? It would be appreciated.

i got alot of love when im with loved ones i feel a glow unlike any other and when i have sex with a loved one the glow doesnt fade i just retain it

I hear where you're coming from, my own life has been pretty loveless lately ... but it's getting better!
Since about a month ago I've started applying universal love (which in the past I've had access to through psychedelics) to little things in everyday life.
Bees on flowers are lovely, I've realized that I love how crisp the air is just after dawn ... little things like that.
Basically I'm in the process of starting love at the bottom, at the most general, and working upwards from there. I'd say it's working.

hello, This is a beautiful approach. Enjoying the simple things. I do this from time to time and it really does make me feel better at any moment. Keep at it, and I will give this a real shot. Thanks for sharing your situation and new outlook on love!

I used to feel just like you, i really didn't love my family, friends, or life too much, i was apathetic really not depressed. in hindsight i just forgot that life was worth living and now have fantastic relationships with friends, family, and my significant other. i credit my change with a very planned psychedelic experience and becoming more or an active, rather than passive, participant in my life. Sorry for talking so much about myself, your situation just sounded so similar that that was what worked for me.

Deekay, thanks for relating to me and healing from a planned psychedelic experience... I do believe in. I have never planned one out well enough to really call it planned, and for the purpose of getting through specific barriers, i will definitely try this some time.
