Well, last night I asked her if she'd like to see Earth tomorrow, and she seems pretty enthusiastic... bear in mind this is the first time I've ever actually arranged to hang out with her. Prior to this it's always been her arranging things.
I still haven't decided if I'm going to make it a one-on-one thing or if I should invite some of our other friends, though. I don't want to seem heavy-handed by suddenly inviting her out to a date but at the same time I don't want to give her the impression I'm not interested specifically in her by making it a group thing...
I agree with #16 - I don't think anyone here has any decent advice for me other than the rather basic suggestion of "go with the flow," which is what seems most sensible to me at this point. Unfortunately, I'm already flustered enough by this point that I'm having a hard time knowing what "the flow" is.
#9, the fundamental basis of my enjoyment with her is non-physical, so I'm not going to try to force any type of physicality into the situation just yet - that is definitely not my intention at this point.
#7 is really my favorite so far, though. I never made any mention of sex, up until the point where I felt like responding to his mockery of my trying to get sex from a friend. He acts like he's talking about me, but it's pretty obvious he's talking about himself.
Girls sure are exciting, huh?

Invite another couple. Not a new couple that's all lovey-dovey, but an established couple that can chill out a bit.
Then it's a double date, but you can play like it's just some friends.

This is actually the type of advice I was looking for.

If the Internet had been around when I was your age, I'd have scored more.
When I wasn't fapping, I mean.
Happy to help.

So after chilling with her one-on-one tonight I'm pretty sure we're squarely friends - there really was no romantic tinge to what was overall a fun night hanging out.
I'm not at all fussed, though - like I said, sex was never a factor in the way I felt, I was just rather stunned by how rapidly we became close. I think my libido is beginning to taper off after the height of puberty and all the compulsive fucking I've been doing, so it felt really strange to me all of a sudden to have this friendship with such a cute girl develop so breezily, and how I was able to relax into it without the whims of my gonads having to influence the situation. I have plenty of girl friends, but it's been something on the order of eight years since I was able to develop a friendship with a girl without a sexual obsession poking its boner in on it on some level.
Puberty is a sweaty-palmed trainwreck, huh?
She does want to hook me up with a cute friend of hers, though.

wow!, so you mean nothing romantic happened with the girl who you haven't ever been romantic with over the past several years?
Gee, didn't see that one coming.

I saw her like once every six months and barely knew her before a couple months ago, now we've been hanging out once or twice a week and getting along fabulously - it was a rather sudden change.

No, it's natural to want a soul mate. I have one. And every day is enjoyable because of her.
Does that soul mate thing really exist?? really?

It's sad because, since there isn't an even amount of males and females, not everyone gets to meet their soul mate in this life, and even if you have, if you screwed up your relationship with your soul mate before you got to get closer with him/her, then that's pretty much it. You only get one soul mate.
Oh, and fags and dykes don't have soul mates, it's a yin-yang type of phenomenon.
