Psychedelic Cacti?
    #10251563 - 04/28/09 09:17 PM (4 years, 25 days ago)

I always pass this house on the way to school and it has loads of cactus.I wanted to know if any of them had any psychedelic properties,
so i thought I'd take a video and see if anyone recognizes anything.

Sorry but it has very very bad quality, i uploaded it from my phone..

No, I recognize a Cereus, possibly peruvianus, a barrel cactus, several Opuntia.
Anyway, don't steal from them, if any of them were active it would be wrong to do, also stay in school.

If they were indeed psychedelic, I was going to ask the owner of the house.
I just didn't want to knock on his door and say "Would one of your cactus's get me high?"
Also, i find school very useless, nonetheless i will continue to attend..

No, they are not active. They are lovely species, if you are in the mood of caring for nice things ask for a cutting from the taller cactus, it is a Cereus I think.

Calling cacti psychedelic is annoying. Stop it.

Well you have received one gift... that you live in a area where you can grow cacti in the masses in the front yard... so why not research psycho:jah: cacti and start a garden.

welcome to the forum, PsychoPsychonaut.

very nice display of cacti and succulents they have there

despite the low quality, i saw:
cereus peruvianus, cereus peruvianus monstrose, echinocactus grusonii, myrtillocactus geometrizans, opuntia species, agaves...

couldn't make out what the small cacti are, but likely mammillaria and gymnocalcium species.

they are all common "inactive" landscaping species as previously stated.

would you mind asking the owner if you can take some pics of it sometime for us, if you can?

we can't enough cactus/succulent pr0n :awesome:
