...But the bad part is I am not use to this type of mycelium. I also have a couple petris that have green mold coming on. Now, my question is, does morels have very fine mycelium, if so, I have one petri that is 60% covered. So, would this be a good time to cut out sections to transfer to new agar?

most people mistake it for cobweb your probably fine. yeah if its about 60%, why not transfer now, most people like to before it reaches the edge of the petri.

Sporeworks light malt agar. Came with my petri kit.
Ok today the one culture over grew the whole petri and I will transfer sections to new agar today. But one section has white spots growing on it. Not on the edge and not in the center, about midway. They were not there last night.

well keep an eye on it it is most likely sclerotia forming. if it turns orangish brownish it's good if green get rid of it.

keep an eye on it but it looks like the beginning of sclerotia formation. take a wm pint jar put like an inch of rye grass seed or wbs a small screen cut to fit in the jar and fill the rest with pasturized soil from the woods where morels grow and knock up with a small section of your agar and wait for sclerotia to grow. check out the morel cult thread for more details good luck.
