Most members in the shroomery are losers and trolls.
But the real shame is, they will leave here when they grow up and out of that phase.
To those mentioned^
My only request is that you stick around AFTER you realize what fools have been. In the mean time, take a break from this place.

its not strange people do that. you dont get a punch in your face for comments you make.like in the real world. So get used to it. or go outside.
Also all the bitching i read about shroomery sucking so much are all posts made by people on the fucking shroomery site. its fuckin hilarious.

No, I'm here because I see a value in this place and love the challenge of fighting off the mentality of those mentioned^
I can ignore worthless comments, but some other can't, and thus it changes the atmosphere of this whole place.
While there are some pretty good elements still here...
In case you haven't noticed, the shroomery is a pretty miserable place, that breeds more misery. Its not the safe haven that it appears to be. Maybe at first, but places like this activate and exacerbate lots of evil tendencies in us. Just because it seems right, doesn't mean it actually is.

For instance. take a random racism thread. Random white guy being picked on when he was little. Has a distorted way of dealing with it. he's to afraid to deal with it in real life, so he comes vent his shit here. That 'shit' attracts people. like flies do on real 'shit'. And after that, there's people like you bitching and whining about the 'shit' the flies leave on the first piece of shit.
my advice: dont shit on the shroomery.
ps. i am not trying to offend anyone. just its soooo easy for someone to complain and whine.

I have to say though, you are right indeed. The shroomery is just fine. But sometimes things sway in certain directions. Most people bitch and do nothing(its like venting), I'm doing something. Its much more fun to take an active roll. Thats all. I actually love this place, and I would never shit on it. The place is fine, its the people that could use some adjusting.

How the hell do people get here if they dont come here primarily for mushroom cultivation?
I dont like the absolute animal way some people think and act. but you cannot avoid that not even in real life. at least at the shroomery you have the choice to not read the posts or topics that offend you. If you dont like what people do or say here. be above that do not respond and direct your energy to something more productive.

I respect everything that you just said. Funny...I agree w/ it too. But as far as the mushrooms, if you google most drug discussion, and various other topics that come up in the public sections, the shroomery comes up near the front. We are a very public site with a highly rated google presence.
As for directing my energy. This happens to coincide with what I do for a living anyway. perhaps its the way in which I direct my energy. I shouldn't give in to the antics, and should watch my tact.
